I've had this dispenser for about 6 months and solely use it for honey. It gets used almost every day. I'm very pleased with it. It does not drip like one reviewer had mentioned. The glass container is a nice feature, if the honey crystalizes, you can place the bottom in the microwave. It's easy to clean and use. It's worth the extra money.

Honestly, I was disappointed with this dispenser. I was willing to pay the extra money to get a great dispenser. I'm a big honey lover and go through a lot of it. I had researched honey dispensers on the web, and this one came back as the top rated. Supposedly, it was guaranteed not to drip - so I decided to spend the extra money. Well, the good news is that it doesn't drip . . . from the spout. But, the bad news is that it leaks from the top of the dispenser - where the weld is. So there is always a bead of honey on the top of dispenser. And of course, since I assumed it would work well - and since it didn't start leaking until a couple weeks after I got it, I had already thrown away the packaging so I couldn't return it.

I've spent a lot of wasted money on cheaper honey dispensers and paid for it with messes. This was exactly what I needed. It doesn't take up a lot of space, it's attractive, it's well made, it doesn't drip, and it's easy to wash. For me, it's perfect. I've seen other reviews that complained it's not bigger, or it won't hold a full bottle of syrup. Well, they already make those. They are called syrup bottles. This is for people who want something smaller to have on the counter for daily use.

With a heavy glass bottom and a handsome satin-finish 18/10 stainless-steel top, this syrup/honey dispenser has a quality feel. Pressing a thumb on its stout spring-loaded lever opens the spout. The dispenser holds about 1 cup, stands 5-1/2 inches high, has a plastic gasket beneath the top for a tight seal, and (except for the gasket) is dishwasher-safe. If you'd like a matching set, WMF also makes a sugar dispenser, creamer, and cocoa/cinnamon shaker.
